WEP keys are not used in wordlists, only WPA keys. WEP is only cracked when you capture 100k or so Unique IVs. Change your network to use WPA PSK and then try to capture the handshake and run your wordlist.

so I added the passphrase for my WEP into a word list and ran the crack with no luck. can anyone explain that?
